After having to close for over a month Print35 is back, following government guidelines to ensure we are COVID safe. Everyone is smiling and happy to be working on the packaging and printing jobs that have come in since we returned.

Print35 is always looking at ways to enhance the skills and capabilities of the people with disabilities who attend the program. To enable us to provide IT training and develop client’s computer skills Print35 has been able to utilise a government community grant to renovate Print35 and purchase 5 new computers.

These computers will be used to provide individualised computer training to interested attendees.  These new computer skills will assist the clients with their day to day activities like budgeting, online shopping, communicating with family and friends as well as information gathering. It will also provide opportunities for clients to be more involved in the administrative operations of Print35.  Mary Matsa who was the team leader at one of JewishCare’s four Supported Accommodation houses, has now been employed as Training and Project officer at Print35, a role that will involve training Print35 clients in computer skills as well as working with them to improve their performance in a range of other tasks.
